A form builder that cannot read the answers

Schweizerform is a tool for building online forms, sharing them and managing the answers: registrations, intake forms, applications, surveys, orders. What sets it apart from many other form tools is what happens to an answer once someone presses “Submit”. It is encrypted in the respondent’s browser, with a fresh key for each response, and only then sent. What is stored is ciphertext.

The Vault key

Answers are opened with your personal Vault key: a separate passphrase that never leaves your browser. When you set it, you receive a one-time recovery code. If both are lost, Schweizerform says existing forms and answers are not deleted but set aside in a protected area, until the old key or the code turns up again.

Schweizerform is open about what it can see: a form’s questions and settings, since without them the form could not be shown to anyone. The answers to every question, and uploaded files and photos, are encrypted end to end.

Run in Switzerland, without trackers

Schweizerform runs on infrastructure operated in Switzerland by Infomaniak. Its form pages carry no analytics scripts, no pixels and no third-party code. Content is never used to train AI.

Building a form

Questions are added and reordered by drag and drop, with a live preview beside them. Question types range from short text and rating scales to file uploads and signatures. Conditional logic shows a question only when it applies. Rather than start from nothing, you can begin with one of the templates made in Switzerland for a range of industries, or describe the form in one sentence and let the AI draft it. A published form can be changed without breaking the live version.

Sharing, and deciding who can answer

Every form gets a link and a QR code, for an email, your website or a notice on the wall. Forms can open and close on a schedule, stop at a set number of answers, or be reachable only with an access code. Anyone filling in a longer form can save and carry on later.

Sorting answers, working as a team

Answers arrive in a searchable inbox with unread markers, filters and tags. They are decrypted only in the browser, with previews of images and documents, and can be exported. Team members can be invited with different roles, without anyone sharing their key. An audit log records sign-ins, exports and deletions.

Schweizerform is meant for people and businesses in Switzerland that collect sensitive details through forms: medical practices, law firms, HR departments, fiduciaries, agencies, associations, schools and event organisers. Anyone can fill in a form, including outside Switzerland. The interface and the forms are available in German, French, Italian and English.
